I did the same thing. I am totally in love with the PowerBeat Pro. The sound quality is very much superior than AirPods. The ear ergonomic is awesome and not conflicting with my glasses. The sweat resistant is excellent. I am glad I did not buy AirPods 2. Apple gave me a sweet surprise by having it delivered on Friday, a week after preorder without expedited shipping.

How is the "noise-cancelling"? I know they are not truly noise-cancelling, but the AirPods (because they were not 'sealed' around the ear canal) had a lot of interference from outside noise (e.g., subways, etc.). My Beats Pro Wireless did a good job of cancelling out the surrounding noise to a better degree because of how they rest in the ear canal. Wondering if Powerbeats Pro are just as good.
I’m at work right now, but you better believe I’ll be putting them through their paces the moment I leave work. Super happy right now!
Also this second photo shows pretty much the charge you get out of the box. Is anyone else charging them first or using them as is till the battery wears down? I’m kind of surprised that one headphone is half the charge or the other.

I got charged on Friday, still processing though. Placed my order around 10:30 am EST 5/3 :/
I ordered at 10:37 on 5/3 - but no update on status (still "processing"). Did any of those that already rec'd their package get email status updates, or were you just surprised with package on doorstep?
Looks like 10:25 order time got charged, your order should be charged anytime now.
Awesome! Mine just arrived as well...Going to take them out on a hike later this afternoon and evening. Mine are charging at the moment. I usually, charge anything up first. Then use them normally for a week or so, charging, using. Then I'll let them run down to 0, just so the battery calibration stuff knows the range from 100 to 0. Then go back to the normal routine...from then on out.
Did your Order Details change over the weekend to indicate your package had shipped?
Ordered at 8:02 PST, absolutely no movement on my order. Seems like you really had to order them as soon as the preorder went live to get them last or this week. I also stopped by two apple stores in San Francisco - the "home" of Apple. One store had two in stock...which they decided to use for display purposes. The flagship Union Square store, had no idea when they were receiving shipment.
I don't think so as I chatted with an Apple rep this morning & they said there is no expedited shipping on pre-orders. That would explain why some opted for it, but didn't get charged for it.
