Downloaded just fine in about an hour. Been stuck of "Verifying..." for about 45 minutes, though. Any tips?

Give it time. Mine's in the "Installing" stage. It took a long time to download, but it went through "verifying" fairly quickly.

mine seemed to install eventually, they when it was finished i started using the watch and it just freezes after a few seconds and i have to force restart it... but it keeps doing this after every reboot :/

not the os upgrade i was expecting after apple delayed the original os2 launch.

Ant

Yes installed successfully... Took time to download but then it was fairly quick...

WOW this update is taking a long long time........ Don't try it if you need to leave in an hour or less, I made this mistake and now I'm late for an appointment. LOL

Mine installed.

Neither the built in weather app or the new native Dark Sky app can determine my location.

COOL.

Had to close the watch app out on my phone, restart my watch then restart the process. Luckily its now "preparing" and didn't have to redownload...

I waited about 45 minutes on the download, finally had to stop and run to town. After I got home and it started again it ran a lot faster, must be less people on the server. Anyway it's in "installing" now. Looks like it's close to being done.

Impossibile to detect the update.
It gives me a watchOS 1.0.1 message: your software is updated.
Why ???
I've iOS 9.0 final release on my iPhone 6 plus.

Just finished the install. Native Apple apps open much faster now. Nothing much to see at the moment. It's up to developers now to provide better - faster and more useful apps.
