Anybody using a new 09 Mini for graphics?

    The duo mini is actually a pretty nice machine for a web designer or print designer. It may chug a bit with high res files, but it is a pretty great option if you already have a monitor.

    Will it get the job done?

    It'll handle most graphics apps and files just fine. But I wouldn't count on it for handling 900 mb multilayered bit maps in Photoshop.

    I use a mini running the CS3 suite daily. No probs with Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator open for advert design, posters, brochures, manuals, etc. Granted I'm not rendering 900MB ML bitmaps...

    wow, awesome. when does it chug? are you editing high res photos at all? sounds like you do what I do. How about photo usage in iPhoto or Lightroom?
