There appears to be 2 options from Pelican,
1 with a "pick foam fit" which a youtube demonstrates all foam had to be removed, and
2 with a soft rubber interior
Main use is for my 4x4 trips, a trip coming up soon, cay contain lots of dust and moisture so weight is not so much of a problem
Mainly concerned about fit and protection of the MBP from elements and a case that won't mark the surface of the device

While I do not use one for my MBP I do use them for my camera gear. Great cases that offer solid protection. I'd stay away from the pick foam and go for the rubber interior as I had issues with the foam deteriorating over time; I wound up using one of their inserts instead.

Tks for the heads-up,
Much appreciated,
