Every time I see someone post pictures of their Sheath, they look so incredibly nice, it makes me put my Sheath back on. However, I'm so used to the "softness' of the Apple leather case that I always go back to the Apple leather. I'm not ashamed to admit that the Sheath is too rough for my hands. Maybe I'll try to dedicate this weekend to using the Sheath so my hands get used to the feel of the case again.

I agree that the Apple leather and the Sheath feel very different in hand, WNTX. I change them up (along with a third clear case that I like quite a lot) according to mood & activity. Do correct me if I'm wrong, but I think the Sheath is more drop-protective.

Your idea of using Sheath for the weekend to get used to it seems like a good one to me! Maybe you'll love it, or decide it's just not for you at this time. Done! Either way.

Please let us know how it goes. Hope it's an enjoyable time well spent! 😀

I had to return my leather case for my iPhone 12. Feels a bit too soft and when you hold it for a long time or touch it with slightly wet hands it gets a bit sticky and moist. Almost like leather sucks up all the heat from your hands. After you let it sit for awhile it kinda returns to normal. It definitely doesn’t feel great after prolonged use though.

Finally got my Caudabe replacement case in ocean blue and this one fits perfectly. Not sure why the first one was moulding so wonky.

I agree about the drop protection. I feel more confident tossing my phone around with the Sheath on. The Sheath was my daily driver for the XS Max. Regardless of how many cases I tried, I always went back to the Sheath. I don't know why, but this time around, I keep going back to the Apple leather even though it bugs me that the case doesn't wrap around to the screen, so it leaves room for dust and lint to fall between the cracks along the sides.

I know what you mean about the material becoming sticky. It almost feels like the case is melting. Although it felt gross, I didn't mind because it gave me more grip.

I couldn’t resist. I have the navy and love it, so I went ahead and ordered the green and gray Sheaths. Their sale along with a coupon code brought their normal price down considerably. I own quite a bit of all sorts of cases and the Sheath is my favorite.

i just thought that if that’s how it feels and looks in early stages. As times goes on it will become really horrible looking and probably start pealing.

I will stick to Caudabe plastic case for now it fits fine protects the phone and doesn’t get that much wear over time.

So my Gray Sheath arrived! It is paired with my Graphite iPhone 12 Pro Max pictured under a bright light to really see the color pop. Let me just say the Gray is an awesome color, it can look dark in darker settings and really pop in more lit settings. It is a nice medium Gray that matches perfectly with Graphite but would definitely look awesome with every color in my opinion. Whoever is on the verge of getting this color or has it ordered and on its way, I think you will not be disappointed.

Hmmm... yes, I think I can see the Gray going with my white iPhone quite nicely! 😍

Thank you, JBlass421.

I think if I went for a black iPhone this year I would have got the grey case. Looks really nice.

I felt like going for something different this year and got the blue iPhone 12 Pro.

I do really like the colour but it’s more turquoise then blue to be honest. I am not sure how I feel about it still but definitely happy it’s not black anymore.

I went for the ocean blue Caudabe case that matches the blue iPhone 12 Pro perfectly.

I am not sure if I will end up getting bored with the blue/turquoise colour in the end, however it’s definitely better than the boring black I always go for.

I feel like black colour is just more simple and goes with a lot more but seeing yours with a grey case I am a little jealous lol

The Pacific Blue iPhone is an awesome color and looks great with the Ocean Blue Sheath but the Pacific Blue iPhone just isn’t for me.

I always go black and could never get tired of it. I am never tempted by the color offerings. The Graphite iPhone is an amazing color in my opinion. It’s actually not black, it’s more of a gray hue.

The Gray Sheath with Graphite is like Ocean Blue Sheath with Pacific Blue. They’re both the perfect match and create that gorgeous monotone look.

I could never get bored of the “black” iPhones because you can always throw color on them from the case and it really is easier to go with everything.

I actually have an Ocean Blue Sheath on the way, it won’t look as awesome as the Pacific Blue pairing but I don’t doubt it’ll be nice as well since the Graphite color literally goes with everything.

Does the grey match the grey edge around the front of the phone?

Looking great. They go together well. Makes me more anxious for them to ship the one I ordered.

You will not be disappointed

I’m happy with my gray, definitely glad I bought the Sheath instead of the Onyx. I dislike the three bumps on the back too. Not very sure about the extra part on the corners either.
The Sheath is just a low profile, clean, no nonsense design.
The grip, the texture, cuts, fit, lips and buttons are just perfect. Not too thin, not too thick.
The 2 meters drop rate also reassuring for daily use.

I think with my onyx I was more impressed by the price for its fit and grip.

It’s not as nice looking as the caudabe cases I admit. I’m happy for now with my onyx though.

That grey looks really nice and subtle.

I’m loving this case. With the sale and coupon code along with the rumor of redoing these with MagSafe, I’ve now got one in every color coming except for the black. I’ve got enough black cases. I’m now set as far as cases go. To me, nothing beats this case. I just wish it wouldn’t have taken over 20 cases to finally find my perfect case.
