I know that the more expensive bands are only really beneficial to the stainless steel watches, but is anybody who has a sport watch, going to buy a more expensive band? I got the 42 mm space gray, and I'm thinking about buying a leather loop. What do you guys think

Yes I have a 38 mm silver sports watch and I've bought a Milanese loop for it. I think it looks very nice.

At my try on, I did the 42mm Space Gray + Black Leather Loop and it looked great. That's not what I ended up getting but it definitely goes well.

I was thinking about getting either a black or blue leather loop, but I'm undecided. I think I'd rather save that for next gen. My daily has been my 42SG Sport with white sport band

I have a space gray and supported the click kickstarter which will give me a space gray stainless link band and a black leather band. I am seriously considering springing for the Milanese Loop band.

Got a black leather loop after seeing it at my try on session with a 42mm SG (still waiting for the watch). I wanted something a little classier for work purpose. I'm also considering getting a blue leather loop at some point too, since it looks nice with the Space Gray.

I've ordered the milanese for my SG sport. My black sports band will be for gym/fitness/work. Milanese will be for nice functions/dinners/etc

----------

I also backed click and am looking at strappedfortime.com for some of their bands

I'm definitely planning on buying a black leather loop for my space grey sport.
Personally I think it's one of the best bands out so far.
I don't want anything to flashy like the ML or a bright colored sports band.

Personally, i don't consider the sport to be a "lesser" grade watch. Though it does cost less & sure it has ion-x vs sapphire, it's still a good looking watch. Especially space grey.

From the pictures I have seen they look really good. Eventually I wanna get the Midnight Blue one for my SG Sport when I have the money. IMO though, the Black and White bands are classy enough to go pretty much anywhere unless your are going to a very, very formal dinner.

Do we think it will look good with the space grey though? The hinges are silver right?

I bought space grey 42 BsB haven't received it yet and ordered the black loop. Got the loop yesterday and the hinge is silver yes but you won't see much since the design is such that the black or blue leather covered the silver hinges that are the attachment to the watch.

I think it's going to look great. I suggest you do it.

I don't I will purchase a more expensive band (in terms of the higher class bands). If anything, I may pickup another sports band in another color.

I am completely happy with my black sport band on my 42mm SG. The only band i would be interested in is the space black link. Looks good but unsure on the price.

Might pick up a few sport bands in the mean time.

Waiting on a 42 space gray sport. I will be getting a black leather loop for it. Tried this combo in store and it looked very nice. Hopefully one of the 3 Apple stores in my area have them in stock!

Ive considered the link bands from third party. Much cheaper but look very nice. I would wait a little longer though I'm sure third party bands will only grow from here and look better as they get the watch colors in hand.

I really like the leather loop, but I'm not overly fond of the pricing of their bands. I'd love to just have the lugs and use a tried and true band from an old watch I still have around.
