    Hi folks.

I'll be a new (first time) iPhone 3 GS owner soon. It's ordered and supposed to 'in delivery', whatever that means.

I got some questions now, and was hoping you folks could provide some suggestions.

    1) Should I get a dock?

    2) Languages. I read the iPhone can be switched from one language to another 'on the go'. What does that do to apps? And what does it do to the voice recognition (Commanding the ipod function and calls)?

    3) Should I get a case?

    4) Can I sync contacts via SyncML with a web-based contacts list? (I run my own domain and it has a 'Horde webmail application' running on it. I can sync the mails via IMAP, but I would rather sync the contacts OTA as well, and not just when I'm plugged into my outlook...)

    5) Can I (properly?) sync 1 iPhone with 2 Computers (more specifically 2 outlooks) ? If yes, what does it do to the contacts? I imagine syncing it at home with my outlook 2007, and was wondering what would happen if I were to run iTunes @work syncing with the company outlook/exchange solution and the global adressbook...)

    6) Coming from a windows vista notebook.. with what application can I sync photos?

    Thanks so far.

    I'll chime in on #1 and #3
I would not spend money on a dock unless you want to play video from your phone on your TV or audio from your phone to a stereo. If you just want to connect your phone to a stereo, there are cables you can pick up at Radio Shack, for instance, for less than $10.
I use an Incase Protective Cover for my phone and it survived a few falls and NOTHING happened to the phone. The type of case you choose is a personal preference and will more than likely extend the life of your phone.

If you have an Apple store near you they should be able to help with the rest if you don't find your answers here.
When you get the phone, you won't remember how you did without it.

Don't waste money on a dock unless you like to buy Apple gear just because you are a fanboy. Do buy a case. I like www.Powersupportusa.com iPhone Air case.
