I guess in a couple years they will cut those bezels in half while increase the screen size and keep the same phone dimension. The iPhone X is nice and all but it’d be a killer design if the bezel is half its current thickness. If you get the space gray it’d even look thicker ( I got the silver)

Well the bezels on the 6/7/8 series didn't bother me so I'm gonna go with a "no" on this one.
From what I've heard accidental touches are an issue on phones with no bezel so I think Apple hit the sweet spot with the X.

I'm not sure you know the definition of the word 'huge'.
Yeah they are both black but on the space gray, the surrounding is gray combining with the black bezel makes it appear to be thicker than the silver with the chrome surrounding.
I didn't really notice the bezel until I put a screen protector on, but it still doesn't seem to be huge.

From what I've read the problem has been somewhat fixed through software updates and can further be remedied by using a case but it doesn't change the fact that it's been a problem for some.
Heck, I have accidental touches with the X as it is. I wouldn't want more bezel width, but I don't think I'd ask for a completely bezel-free design, either.

You completely, absolutely, totally missed the humor in my post.
We know, it's the protruding camera as you mentioned in many other threads (Assumingly). Reality is, I don't think Apple is going to be getting rid of the protruding camera anytime soon, because I see this as their own gateway of how they designed the iPhone and they likely don't see it as a non-issue. Some like to say it's form over function with Apple. And that somebody's opinion that they're entitled to, but as long as the iPhone can produce camera results that take stellar pictures for me, I have no issue With that, but I understand everybody has their preferences.

That said, we are in agreement with the theory on how Apple sees this.
Umm, not exactly sure what you mean here? Are you looking at the chin and forehead of the iPhone 8? I am not seeing a "huge" bezel on the iPhone X.
I agree that once they thin out the bezels the phone would look nicer, but I believe they have bigger design issues to resolve, like that awful notch.
Besides that, it is still a good looking device (as it usually is with Apple products) and you'd not sweat it after a while.
