I am curious how "old" their stock is if that makes sense.

They have the i9 model for $2499 with Applecare for $299 .. not bad.

Thanks!

Old meaning? I bought the base model from Costco. $2099 wasn't bad at all.

Old meaning - stuck in Costco warehouse since launch so still some of the earliest machines made. I was hoping for a later build date.

I have an 11/20 BTO build and it is...truly...flawless.

Just buy one and try it, if it's not perfect, return it.

Just because it's early doesn't mean it's ****.

I got $300 discount on my 16" MBP mid-line spec (2.4 i9, 32 GB, 1 TB, 5500M 8 GB) from B&H Photo-Video when I ordered a week or so ago. Apple showed $3,499, I purchased for $3,199. Almost 10% off a newly released machine, that's a heck of a deal. It looks like they are still discounting a few 16" SKUs, in case anyone is interested.
