Anyone else annoyed Apple doesn’t offer more colorful smart folios/covers?...

I’m getting tired of the stupid and boring colors Apple offers with their iPads. I was hoping with this refresh for Spring, Apple would offer cool colors to their accessories. The papaya looks cool, but why can’t they do Green, Blue, Red, CamelBack brown, Purple, Violet, etc, etc.

I like the papaya colour too. My main iPad is the iPad Pro 12.9 3rd gen though. I guess that the Air 3 cover should fit my iPad Pro 10.5 though, so I could get it for that iPad. I agree with you though that I’d like to see more colours for the latest iPad Pro models.

Apple also has them for my 11" iPad Pro but not in leather. It is plastic with kinda sharp edges but I still like it over anything else.

I was at the apple store the other day to see about replacing my white folio that is starting to look worn. Not only do they not have any new colors, they don't stock the folios in the 3 boring colors that they had at launch. Only for 10.5" and smaller iPads. What is wrong with apple, they don't think max spec iPad owners will spend money on accessories?

It’s baffling. Someone said they are only doing the covers that sell best. Well, in all the Smart Cover ranges that had colours it is the best colours that are sold out NOT the boring white, gray, or the anaemic pink sand. Baffling also because a lot of people are now probably buying third party covers and cases, a significant loss for Apple.

I will buy third party, I’m not having anymore gray, and I’ve never had white or pink. Horrible.

I much prefer bold colors myself..deep purple, turquoise, midnight blue, deep red, dark green. The pastel colors are boring to me. I don’t even wear pastels and I’m a women.
