Anyone else jump from section to section by changing the number at the end of this URL:

    http://forums.macrumors.com/forumdisplay.php?f=1

I do this several times an hour at work when my projects bother me. -_-

    Favorites:
    68 - Picture Gallery
    129 - Macbook
    1 - Mac Pro

    Sometimes used:
    91 - iMac, Mac mini
    90 - Macbook Pro

Just was sorta thinking that I can't be the only one. :p

You CAN be the only one. :p

I have done that with websites before, not with the forums though.

firefox keeps track of my most visited sites/forums, so I basically just hit the f key in the url bar and a bunch of forums pop up.

At a forum where I was (am) a moderator, I made a FireFox plugin that had all the links to all the forums in the menubar. It was awesome and much quicker to jump around.

    Grief! No, no, no!

Almost as bad as sticking Apple stickers on your MacBook palmrest I'd say. ;)

    Just use ForumSpy… much easier.

Forum Spy looks REALLY neat. I have never used that feature. Live updating? That is NICE.

Hmmm, seems like an idea. My way just requires that I highlight a few characters and the end of the URL and type my own, pretty quick imo.

Mine was one-handed, two clicks of the mouse at most. ;)

    One handed?
Interesting… makes me wonder what kind of subject matter your forum offered its readers/users.

    ;)

    hahahaha. +1

I definitely have a few things on my Mac to make things easier to do one handed, with no dirty deeds in mind... Everyone always seems to go THERE when one mentions optimizing one-handed computer operation. :p

Who said I allow speaking during my recreational activities? Mind control ftw... Steve Jobs should stop fiddling with these silly tablets and start on that gem of an idea. :D

Nope. I just use the mouse and the back/forward buttons unless I need to type a reply.

What is wrong with the menubar bookmarks? How is it different.

I don't browse the forum the way the OP does, I use forum spy+thread subscriptions and UserCP.

Nope. Use the spy or scroll through the channels on the right of the main page to see what interests me.
