Anyone else cancel their Sport and upgrade to the SS Classic Buckle?

I caved! I ordered late in the game... April 29. Ordered a 38mm White Sport. After only a week of waiting I couldn't stand it and just upgraded to the SS Classic Buckle after seeing how quick the shipping is!

I'm such a sucker. Kinda looking forward to the SS though... the 'scratchability' makes me nervous, but it sure is sharp looking. Anyone else give in like I did? If so, when did you order? Keep me updated on how quick you get it!
 
I've heard shipping is as quick as 2-3 days after ordering! The OFFICIAL window I just got with my confirmation is May 18-May 26. Still better than my June ship date for my original order.
 
Yup, got my SS 38mm yesterday. Feels and looks so much better. Something about the sport bothered me.

The weight and finish of the SS model is just so much better

Ordered my 38mm on the 4th and got it yesterday. Not sure if that's still the case

So glad to hear you're happy with the upgrade! I also questioned the Sport... I was afraid it would feel "light and plastic-y". I was just unsure about spending so much on such a new type of device that I may or may not really like. Too late now though, I'm committed to it! Ha ha
 
i cancelled my SS space black link bracelet and went with a space gray sport. saved $700 and will likely get the order sooner than waiting for them to make the link since they didn't make any prior to us ordering them.

I can not believe the links are still nowhere to be found. How did they not know that would be SUPER popular? Blows my mind. Have you received your sport yet? The space gray is REALLY nice looking.

i haven't but i only ordered it last week after cancelling. i know it's going to be a long wait but i'm ok with it. i think i will be just as happy with the gray as i would have been with the link maybe even moreso.
 
I have cancelled may 5, then I ordered the 38 ss bcb and it will be here tomorrow

As the owner of many stainless steel watches, they all scratch, even Rolex'. The good news is that it polished out easily, but it is also considered part of the patina of the watch.
 
Sold my silver sport with blue band and ordered the SS classic buckle on Thursday and it came Tuesday.

Honestly the sport doesn't even deserve to be called an Apple Watch as the SS is SOOO much better of a product. Even the box is better. Plus, you get a metal charger not a plastic one. The band is very comfortable. The leather doesn't look luxury too me, but I guess that's the style they were going with.

Sadly, my temp job ended unexpectedly, so I couldn't justify keeping a $700 watch when I have no job. Maybe when I'm working again I'll re-order. :(

Better get your flame suit on, the Sport owners are going to be coming after you guns hot on that statement.
 
Turnaround seems to be about 1-3 days. There was a sport band ordered 38 ss that was ordered and shipped this week. I'd rather have a sport band than classic buckle. I really want a black s/s but maybe I'll just go with s/s this watch and if it all works out upgrade for gen 2.
 
I ordered the sport April 10.
Ordered the 38mm SS Classic 4/25 and got it three days later.
I'm going to keep the SS.

Got to be trollin, but smart financial decision non the less...42SG FTW!
 
Originally I ordered the 42mm SG Apple Watch Sport and canceled it for the 38mm SS Apple Watch w/Classic Buckle. From order to arrival it took 2 days, and I am pretty happy with the change. The size worked out better than expected as I found myself looking for something that didn't over-power my wrist, and I love the idea of being able to change the band to anything I want (removing the screws on the classic buckle adapter and putting on another band).
 
I caved too. Cancelled my 42mm Sport and got the 38mm SS with black classic buckle on Tuesday of this week. I'm happy. I was worried the 38mm would be too small but it actually looks perfect on me. I have 165 mm wrists. Also, the screen on the 38mm is larger than the screen on my Pebble Classic so for me it was a step up.

The shiny SS case looks SOOOOO good and the leather is very comfortable. I think the Sport looks good as well but side-by-side the SS simply looks amazing. Somebody said it well when they said the Sport is the 5C of the lineup.
