I really think iMovie has potential, but ReelDirector is the better choice right now in my opinion. The only option ReelDirector lacks is an easy way to import music from your iTunes list. But it has more transitions and wipes. Come on iMovie. I need some awesome features...Like slow motion.... a few effects would be nice. Maybe some black and white, or sepia...etc. And if you can make it work, chroma key would be sweet too...haha. Just sayin'

Totally agree. Imovie really lacks a lot of transition and editing effects that apple should have bundled. Does not feel like an apple product right now, guess we will have to wait for an update.

I used it for the first time yesterday. It's good for a start. I had low expectations since I used the desktop version on my MBP quite often. For a quick movie and upload to YouTube, it works fine for my purpose.

Not disappointed but I realized how often I will ever use it. ....and that answer is once a year.
