I know the Pro models tend to get most of the attention on here but honestly I am very excited at the prospect of getting a large-sized phone that doesn't bust the top end of the budget... plus hopefully in cool colours too!

This could finally be the year my XR gets an upgrade...

I have yet to hear about a new iPhone. When is the rumored release date?

If what I am reading about them comes true I will purchase one for sure. Looking for smaller camera bumps and a better screen.

If the rumors hold true of a recessed camera array, I will definitely be excited. Also would love to see the Pro Max have titanium trim instead of aluminum. New colors will also be welcome.

Can anyone answer regarding rumored release date?

Also, if the camera is flush to the back of the phone, that will not be good in terms of keeping your IPhone camera defect & scratch free.

Hopefully they will roll out some huge improvements and make this years IPhone pro max worth buying. Still rocking the 12 pro max.

What price do we reckon the regular Max will drop at? Will the 14 likely stay at the price of the 13, with the Max being $/£100 more?

What sort of features could we be looking forward to?

The rumor mill always makes the next phone seem like a groundbreaking step, but the truth is usually that there‘s only very little that changes from one generation to the next.

I think more options in terms of screen size definitely sounds good, but if we‘re losing the Mini at the same time, it‘s ultimately less choice than we have today.

Probably $929, so $100 more than the 6.1” model.

The 6.1” Pro will likely move up to $1,099.

Of course it won’t be flush. That would add 3mm of thickness to the entire device.

Wouldn’t they Just find a way to insert the tri-lens into the device itself? Do you mind explaining why it would be thicker?

The camera module is already fully inside the iPhone. It’s not as if there is room inside the iPhone and Apple is deliberately sticking the module out.

The size of the camera sensor dictates the size of the lens. A larger sensor offers better low light ability. However, a larger sensor also requires a larger and thicker lens. Apple won’t go backwards and shrink the camera module. Nor will they thicken the body of the iPhone just to make the camera flush with the chassis.

Yes as long as there’s not huge bezels and it’s the same screen and form factor as the pro max. Wasn’t a fan of the XR.

I prefer my 12 over a 12 pro because its much lighter.

Not excited because I purchased a 13 Pro Max in December.

Before that, my 8 Plus lasted me a couple weeks more than 4 years, making its lifetime cost to me $19.79 per month owned. My goal for the 13 is no less than $30.00 per month over its life, so holding it just over 3 years minimum as long as it remains reliable.
