Anyone else experiencing "dasd" memory leak on beta 2?

Yes, B3 seems to have cured this issue for me as well. All of the suggestions posted here, including the one I offered were only temp fixes in B2.

I have it on 27.0 Beta (26A5378n), which I assume is beta 3.

I had it on beta 3 for a few days as well, however it's now wrapped up. It took a bit of time.. but I'm glad to see it gone
