Anyone else get a MBP that smells like fish?

I kid you not! I thought my Refurb smelled like fish from the time I got it. The odor became stronger.

As I was boxing up to return I found the issue. The Power adapter freaking smells like fish! anyone else have this issue?

Could be a bad batch. Call Apple customer service or drop by a local store to see if they'll exchange it for you. That seems odd though.

just get the adapter changed no need to send the mbp back if the rest is al 100%

i had an ibook g3 that smelt really weird, kinda like fish i guess

Cheap manufactures in China. Sometimes will replace the white silicone insulation paste, Used in small transformers, with fish oils. 😀
