Every once in a while, I take off my cases to clean off the phone and clear any dust that may have snuck in. On my 12 Pro, I'm currently using an Apple silicone MagSafe case (but not using a MagSafe charger). I do use a Nomad wireless charger at night, but no MagSafe. I noticed my phone now has a faint, but ugly ring imprint on the back. Seriously?! I know some might not care, but I certainly do. Is this a common occurence? I'm pretty sure it didn't look like this when I first got the phone. Could be wrong, but I don't think I saw this before.

eta: I only have my iMac camera to take the photo, so it doesn't show it as well as I can see it in person.

I can for sure see the ring in the photo, but I haven’t seen the ring on my own device. I go caseless though, so I’m sure it has something to do with the case

Ugh. I had wiped the back like crazy with a microfiber cloth with no result. Then I decided to try a little dampness with water on the cloth, then dry cloth. It reduced the ring image by about 90%. If I keep going, I might be able to get it fully gone. I can live with it even it it stays at 10%. But, man, I freaked out at first!
