This started for me yesterday. So far I have tried: resetting all preferences, containers, caches, testing in alternative admin account, boot into safe mode, deleting and reloading all calendars, and reinstalling OSX (although not a clean install). I am still getting this error. I also spent 2 hours on the phone with Apple and they have escalated it to their engineering team.

I think it is an issue on their end, because I cannot think of anything else to try on my end.
 
I’ll just let you know the Mojave update does fix it. I had this problem for almost a week and couldn’t find anything that could fix it so I just tried updating from macOS High Sierra 10.13.6 to macOS Mojave 10.14.1 and that fixed it.
 
Sorry to hear that. Yeah I was pretty relieved when the Mojave update fixed it for me.
 
The mojave update has resulted in a whole host of messages and the calendar server message.
If anyone has found an answer to resolve this problem, I would love to hear about it!
The syncing issue is also a problem between my iMac and the iPhones (8 and 6) They either don't sync or they sync a day or two later! All in all, I have been happy with the calendar system until this issue began, and now these messages ...
