I have an 11" MBA (late 2010), and there's a significant lag in Mail (UI) every time I use it....which is pretty much all the time. I'm talking 2-3 seconds when typing, scrolling, loading an email, etc. Happens consistently, but not every single time I do anything. Every few seconds.

    Ideas?

You're not the only one. I get lag...but only when I have an external mouse connected. It's a bit odd and annoying :/

Nothing on my 2012 13" (no mouse connected: damn I love this trackpad).
Safari sometimes freezes with Flash but that's it.

And, why yes, I do have an external mouse connected. How strange.

Try disconnecting the mouse and see what happens, maybe? Could be a bug related to the mouse or persistent scrollbars

It still does it even without the mouse plugged in (I was using a USB mouse).

I went from SL to ML on my 2010 13" MBP.
If I try to compose an email or respond to an email while in full screen mode, most of the time it won't do anything. Maybe 1 out of 15 times it will work.
But, if I exit full screen mode it works fine.
