Between the price drop on the SE, along with the issues and lack of new features on the 7, I opted to go for the SE instead. I gave the 7 a test in-store, and was just flat out unimpressed. Between the wonky jolt instead of a button, the lack of headphone jack, and the fact that the SE still seemed "snappier" in real world usage, it seemed more like an easy decision.

Anyone else go this route as well? If so, what model did you come from?

Me! I will buy my SE next week :D . Coming from iphone 5c white.

I am also not impressed with the new 7. I bought a 6s to my girlfriend and I can't enjoy this model, this design. SE it's defenetly for me but I don't know what to say about the screen. Beside resolution, is there any difference between the SE screen and 6/6s screen ?

i did at first. seemed to make sense. but then i returned my SE and am waiting for a 7. i was coming from a 5S. tbh i couldnt go back to the smaller screen, even though i never have had a bigger screen. just thinking about the possibility of the 4.7 screen, imagining it in my hands, and being so gentle on my eyes, i couldnt go back. cant wait to get the 7 !

between the 7 Plus and the SE, the 7 (or 6/s) would have been the best balance in size.

when I had 3D Touch on my 6s Plus, I didn't use it much. but now and after iOS 10, I find I'm using it a heck lot more. I find it faster in doing certain tasks.

Almost went for the SE. I was coming from the 6 Plus, was really ready for a smaller phone and was not overly impressed with the 7's. I had it narrowed down between the 7, 6s and SE.

When Apple doubled the storage on the 6s combined with a $100 price drop but kept the storage the same on the SE with only a $50 price drop on only the 64GB, the value proposition of the SE was no longer there for me. Plus, who knows what, if anything is in store for the SE in the Spring. It was now a choice between the 6s and the 7.

In the end, I went with the 7 and loving it....even though I doubt I'll keep it longer than 1 year....expecting a total redesign next year!

i went from a much loved 6 to an SE, and am very happy with it, feels great in the hand. After 1.5 weeks I went to the store to play with the 7 and couldn't believe how awkward it felt...so much so I may stay on the 4" cycle.

Yep had a 7 since release, but as I do most stuff on my iPad Pro I ordered a 128gb SE from very last night for £349, love the smaller phone and think that’s a cracking deal for that much storage, it’s coming tomorrow so will post how I get on

Yes sorry, totally love it the size is amazing and so is the battery, used it loads today from 7am and still on 40% battery. The screen is amazing for the size but whats blown me away after reviews I read is Touch ID, I read it was slow as first gen but I swear its quicker than my 7, I used to have to have a couple of goes with the 7 but used Apple Pay twice today and it was instant and so fast, it took me by surprise

The form factor is perfect and just slips in the pocket, this thing is a pocket rocket and when they update it it can only get better again but it does everything I need and more.

before anyone says no 3D Touch, I never used this on my 7, just forgot it was there to use.

If you are on the fence I would jump in you won't be disappointed !!
