Too many times on a new iPhone release people freak out over something and the media runs with it for page clicks (antennagate, batterygate, scuffgate, etc).

Happy to see that the iPhone 5s is so perfect that it doesn't give people any problems or leeway to freak out over :D

Anyone else feel the same way?

Stockgate

Fingergate

Goldgate

64bitgate? :p

...you just wait, people always have something to complain about. IMO, 'antennagate' and 'scuffgate' were blown out of proportion by a factor of about 100.

Why would I be happy?

I feel terrible for all the OCD people who must be totally lost.

We really need to come up with something......anything

Last year there were many, many threads about scuffs on the edge of the phone. Seems like they've got that pretty well perfected this time around. I looked my phone over when I got it and it actually looked perfect. Very pleased.

It's definately gold gate so far. Having devices not available for a month after launch is gate worthy.

Look out for finger gate as well.

Another great reason to be on the S cycle

I quickly glanced at my new 64gb grey 5S before I slipped it into the Sedio shell and have not looked back. My 5s is perfect and I love it.

Just think back to how long it took to get white iPhones a few years back...

I know!

Was ready to upgrade but wanted a white. Jobs came out after antenna gate and said white iphone coming out next week. Was excited. Then delayed. So I just kept my upgrade and waited for 4S. Love the s cycle

Golden gate is a reality. They only shipped literally a few gold iPhones to apple stores. That's a gross underestimate.

Generally there aren't problems like these with the S model because the S model fixes them.

"Antennagate" was a problem with the iPhone 4 that was fixed in the 4S.

"Scuffgate" could very well be fixed in the iPhone 5S.

I don't know which release "batterygate" refers to.

Might sound stupid but I haven't been able to figure out how to use the fingerprint scanner thing. I set it all up on startup. It just remains with slide to unlock...

My touch ID isn't working right and there are problems sharing and downloading slow motion videos.

Just hold your finger on the sensor for another second.
