The iCloud tabs my iPad is showing me that I allegedly have opened on my iPhone are just wrong.

First, many new tabs I’ve opened in ages are not shown.

Second, tabs I’ve closed ages ago are still shown.

Third, the ones that are shown are in a complete false order (not the order they're opened in on my iPhone). So they end up making no sense to me. This is both the case on iPad and Mac.

The only place where they're shown in the right order is when clicking the "cloud" button in the Safari menu bar. But on the homepage (when having the feature set to show iCloud), the order is a different one.

Apple, what a fricking mess … how can you be such a chaotic messy Apple? There's literally zero order here. With every update, the whole system becomes more chaotic and less rational or logical.

I remember many years ago this feature absolutely did not work. Then to my surprise it started working the past couple of years I think. Now it’s not working again anymore.

Anyone else have this issue as well?

I don't understand why it's so hard to get this seemingly simple feature working correctly. It goes through periods of working, and then an update will kill it. Since the recent iOS 18, macOS 15, etc. updates, my iCloud tabs are broken again. They had been working reliably through the end of iOS 17, macOS 14... Alas...
