Anyone else having problems signing onto eBay UK?

Hi All,
Been trying to signon to eBay UK since 10 this morning via the eBay Application and via the website and on both I get "Network Connection Failed". I can browse using the browser but not sign in.

I tryed this on a friends PC and I could signon fine it's just I can't on my iPhone.

I'm on a v1 iPhone connected via the edge network and have the latest firmware.

Is anyone else having the same problem?

Yep. Same here - except I'm getting 'Incorrect password/username' when I know it isn't the case.

Tracked it down further. It seems to be connected to sites that require https. Normal http sites are working fine but as soon as I get to a secure part of the site the page will not load.

A work mate on 3g iPhone after a few attempts managed to get on so maybe it's just affecting the edge network.

Well after having a further day of problems with eBay and https sites, I decided tonight to do a restore on the iPhone and after an hour I was back up and running on eBay and other sites.

Looks like the iPhone got it's knickers in a twist but all back up and running now.
