I have been experiencing similar problems...

Youtube website loads properly, able to search and then when I click on the results and try to view the videos, the video page loads, I can see the comments etc and related videos but the video player remains black, with no sound.

I have just performed a software update on my mac, and downloaded most recent Flash update...

It is really bugging me that things won't work..

ANY IDEAS?

for some reason, i cannot skip to certain places in the video. like every time i click on the tracking bar, it just restarts the video, strangely from that that point in the scroll bar. so when it reaches the end, it'll still be playing the video, but the replay screen will be there.

also, you can just enroll in the html5 beta they have on the website.

Last personal uploaded video has started playing automatically all of a sudden.

This isn't so much a reply as a related problem...I thought I may as well add it here see if anyone can help.
The last video I uploaded has started playing automatically all of a sudden every time I pass by my main page.I have made sure, checked and double checked that the play videos automatically is not checked on settings;in any case it was fine and suddenly is not.I don't need to hear myself every time I pass by that page,is terribly annoying.
You tube is not help, they are chicken, they have no direct e-mail address to technical team.
ANYONE has this problem? Anyone has any ideas as to what to do to sort it? :)
