That would probably explain it. Outdated browsers.

TenFourFox 17 is the latest stable version (24 is a beta). It's the equivalent of Firefox 17, but for PowerPC Macs.

If you are really using Firefox 3.6 I'd download a copy of TenFourFox and use that instead.
