I have had every iPhone on DAY 1 since the original 2G phone was launched. I remember waiting in line at the AT&T store questioning whether I should blow $1200 on two new phones. It ended up being a great decisions because at the time my phone had technology that was light years ahead of anyone else's.

I can't believe how far we've all come since then.... I will be getting the iPhone 5 on DAY 1 again!

With the exception of the 3G, I've had every iPhone. Thanks in part to being the main line on a family plan. I got my original iPhone back in August. I recall it came with OS 1.0.0 loaded.

Every one but the 3GS. I skipped that one because it really didn't have that much my 3G didn't have. I jailbreak so I already had alot of the features from the 3GS on my 3G.

I am actually very excited. Walking into the Freehold store and getting the last iPhone in that cool slick paper bag. [sigh] Those were the days.

Every iPhone on Day 1. No exceptions.

Yes, every phone on launch day since the original iPhone... Hoping to continue the run this year, too!

I started with the 3G and have had every one on launch day.

When the first one came out I was still rocking my Razr. :D

The good old days! I miss how my 2G was fast back in the day.

Had all iPhone on launch day. It is a tradition now in our family lol

I've had everyone till this year.

I'm choosing to pass on iPhone 5 (or whatever it's called).

The leaks have revealed enough, that I'm absolutely certain there's no way Apple will include the features that matter to me.

No excitement = no sale.

An additional benefit? No sale = no bugs or annoyances.

No bugs or annoyances... Priceless :D

Yup, with the exception of the first iPhone, which Apple gave to me when I was an employee, which I find more special anyway.

Started with the 3G... Skipped the 3GS. Family has switched carriers back and forth between AT&T/Verizon for the last couple years (for one reason or another, mainly crap service/we move and service changes), coincidentally coinciding with iPhone launches.

tl;dr I haven't ever paid an off-contract price for a new iPhone :D

/Edit: Just sold my 4S on eBay, currently using a 4 which will be donated to a lady friend once I get the 5...

Some people consider it a hobby now LOL

only got one iPhone, iPhone 4 CDMA and I'll probably use it till it physically breaks. No need to waste money and throw away a perfectly capable phone.

iPhone 2G: Wasn't interested. Still thought my N95 8GB was the coolest thing ever. Also had some misleading information about iPhone only worked on CDMA  Don't know where I heard that from..

iPhone 3G: I WANT THAT NOW! Bought one off eBay for quite a ridiculous price. Using a GEVEY SIM for my T-Mobile.

iPhone 3GS: NEW IPHONE! Switch to ATT.

iPhone 4: :eek::eek: It's a thing of beauty! Placed 2 orders with my friend in Canada to get me the factory unlocked version.

iPhone 4S: :( It's the same shape. Nothing great about it. Not gonna buy it! A month later, Apple finally had the unlocked version and I immediately placed an order for a white 64GB 4S. :D

iPhone 5: Definitely, yes! Although still contemplating between white or black.
