I'm waiting to see what Apple does in March for new bands, so I'm a bit hesitant to spend money on a band.

I may be in the minority but with a month a way, I can hold off :)

I am considering getting an orange SB, but may wait to see what new colors are released at the March event.

There have been 3 sport band colors I have wanted to add, Stone, Midnight Blue and Product Red. Added the first two fairly quickly as supplies came in but still don't have that red one which looks so darn good on people. Thinking it might be nice to wear on Valentine's Day. So that might get purchased before the new release. Other than that I'm feeling set.

I love my Product RED band. Nice and vibrant and perfect for when I'm wearing my Blackhawks stuff!

I must admit I am holding out, because I want to see what colors they bring out before getting new bands. But then I do have more than 15 bands so I will be fine for a while

I love the product red so much. I'm away from home for over a month and it was the only colour in my collection I thought I could pull off wearing a month straight.

Im looking for a nice brown colour sport band next. I have a chocolate brown colour third party band on order but it won't be here for a week or two because of Chinese New Year. We'll see how it is then. If Apple come out with a similar colour it might get replaced quickly win an official one.

Beyond that, I'm looking for a leather band but I'm not sure about apples solutions because waterproofing is about concern of mine in the climate I live in. I doubt that'll change in March so I'll press ahead with my plans to buy a separate band and adaptors to make my own.

The rumoured nato bands would have to be truly exceptional to draw me in, given the expected price point. I'm extremely satisfied with the one I bought last summer as cheap as any other third party band. It's not a pale imitation like, say the hoco leather ones, because it doesn't have to be - nylon is fairly cheap anyway.

The black Milanese loop would only upset me that I didn't go black the first time around although it will make up my mind to go black when Apple Watch 2 comes.

I'm hoping rumours of a NATO-type band are true.
I've heard those rumors as well. I'm curious to see what apple would do and how different will it be from others at this point

I think I'd only be interested if it's a true nato style strap, complete with cutout for heart rate sensor. As @testcard pointed out there's a lot of two piece options out there already.

True, and already available at competitive prices.

I think clockwork synergy are still making a fair old profit on that price. There's not even any specific tooling needed over and above two piece nato straps that have been around for years (unlike if a company decided to make Apple-like sports bands) just the addition of an adapter, in this case a springbar one which can't cost much and takes seconds for them to install.

If Apple positions them as a dressier alternative to the sports band at the same price point, they're onto a winner. If they're in the same league as a Milanese loop then it'll need to bring something amazing to the table.

I'm hoping something along the lines of these bands are in the pipeline:

I actually just bought one of those in grey last week, and I really like it.

Agreed, I hope they're at the same price point as the SBs. They need an alternative at that price point to give people some options.

A battery band would be nice. Given what they have done with iPhone 6s battery case, i gotta think that this is logical next step.

I am settled in with bands. I have a few that I really love, and don't want any others.

...with one exception. I'm STILL waiting for a hot pink leather loop, but it doesn't look like anyone is doing the leather loops in anything but the traditional colors.

I hope for a Zulu strap. The hardware of the Zulu is more like the buckle of the Apple Classic Buckle

Just joined the red fan club. Love the color, very nice and ready for Valentine's Day. I'll still be curious to see what they announce in March though…but pretty happy right now.

I'm waiting until I get a new job before buying a new band, but I'm definitely interested in what new ones are coming next.

I spoke to soon....I got an open box ML on eBay yesterday for like $70. Too good of a deal for me to pass up, I have the clone ML but I know the genuine will be much better.
