Anyone else intrigued by soon UFO/UAP full disclosure from the DOD?

Somewhere in a subfolder, I remember downloading a ton of the reports already released. My intention is to one day throw them into a database for a data analysis and/or ML project. I very much doubt I’m the only one who has thought of this, and I very much expect someone a lot smarter and talented than I, and every government with an interest, has already fully examined the data.

I don’t think there’s anything to see or find in the data, but I look forward to everyone trying.

Edit: I just realized the irony me dismissing anything being found, considering my current avatar.

There are a lot more videos that we haven't seen. Also now the military is telling pilots to report it where before they were afraid to report it because of the stigma. I was in the Navy between 2006-2010 and saw the exact same thing a few times while out to sea. Back then smartphones were new so there wasn't an always available camera like there are now.

One of author Whitley Strieber's latest book, A New World, gives a really unique take on the subject.

I don't whole heartedly believe the government either but as I said I have seen the exact **** when I was deployed with the Navy. What I'm more interested in is the sudden shift of everything you see is fake and denial by the DOD but now are actually verifying the videos and openly talk about it
 
There is definitely something going on out there. It’s a good thing, now is the time to stop the ridicule and start serious and open investigation. I am sure it’s already been done at the highest levels of governments around the world. Let’s get the info out there and see what happens.

I have been a UFO fan for years having consumed many media reports and the bottom line as with other mysterious phenomena, for example ghosts, I’m open minded, but I either need to see it myself, or have complete confidence in the reporting source. Something like UFO Files or Ghost Hunters seems a bit dicey to me. Get the military actively involved instead of suppressing info, then it becomes much more interesting. :)

As a military/professional pilot for 30 years, I was always primed for the mysterious encounter, but never saw a thing that I would classify as a UFO. :(

I'm just happy I can finally give the middle finger to everyone who said I was seeing crap when I saw UAP's while underway in the Navy lol. But for real, yeah stuff like Ancient Aliens/UFO Files/Ghost Hunters are probably complete BS and as you said, reporting sources make or break most claims. The only other one I have really been like wow this is legit, and no one talks about it is the Lights over Pheonix event. As for ghost, I believe they are real but not someone who is dead and wondering around. I more lean towards it being Alt Universe crossing over for a second.

I have seen some pretty amazing footage, just like in the CNN link you posted. This is the bottom line, if that is raw unedited footage, than UFOs are real no doubt. Then we can proceed to speculate where they come from and extra terrestrial becomes highly suspect. :D

As far as ghosts, alt-universe, parallel universe, spirits, tall tales, someone’s imagination, just throw the dice. ;)

One night my wife and a friend came home and said they had seen unexplained lights over a very small town just north of us, swearing they saw a UFO. I explained that it is not logical for another group of beings that had the intelligence and curiosity that would have to travel 100's of light years to get to our planet, just to fly over this little town and leave.
I would believe the theory that some "asteriods" may be old probes looking for life from other galaxies. We have extensive monitoring of the space around us to warn us of objects approaching the Earth. The shear number of other galaxies and solar systems are staggering and the chances of another planet with life supporting atmospheres are high, but are their life forms ahead or behind us in evolution? We tend to hope they are like us.

Unless they had a sense of humor and were like "watch what the humans do when I turn on my lights for a few mins." just for the lolz!
 
According to 60 Minutes tonight, most military members believe they're one of the following:

1) Threat (Russian or Chinese) very advanced spy technology.
2) Natural anomaly that can't be explained at this time.
3) Extraterrestrial visitation.

I would side with the first 2 before jumping to #3.

You really might want to start looking at #3 a lot more. First off, there is advanced spy technology, sci-fi like advanced technology and there may be a country that is more advanced than us. However, there is a whole other advanced side that can really only be explained if you have seen these UAP's firsthand. That side is advanced bat **** crazy laws of universe defying and that is when I can nix #1 off the table.

As for taking #2 off the table, thats probably true for 60% of the sightings people say they have seen but once again having seen it with my own eyes, I really dont know of any or how any natural anomaly manifests it self as multiple diamond shaped objects zigzagging across the sky and turning and doing it all at speeds that are unnatural to the law of physics that disappeared at one point under the water making a wake from its submerging. I mean I GUESS it could be flying dolphins or whales but who knows.

If #1 and 2 are taken away from the table then Extraterrestrial life does become a huge player on the board but if I can believe that there are aliens visiting us with technology that can only be called magic it would be wrong to not think perhaps it's not aliens and just another species that is aquatic and is more advanced than us. I mean 70% of the ocean is still unexplored and we know less about it than we do other planets so maybe not ET's at all but just an alien species?

Here is a #4 for you to think about. It could also just be God getting bored in heaven and doing the equivalent of pointing a red laser pointer in front of a cat or dog and watching them try to catch it while laughing hysterically... Who Knows?

Personally #3 and 4 are my favorite options.

Hey derekamoss, are you allowed to say where you were stationed when you saw the UAPs? If so, could you let us know and maybe give us descriptions? I'd love to hear it!

Also, we've got to figure all the Presidents had intel on this. Now I wonder if the Vice Presidents also have the same level of intel as the Presidents? Like did Biden take office and find out then or did he know as Obama's VP?

Hey sorry for the late response. I'm not sure I'm not allowed talk specific details about the response, but I don't want to take the chance so give me a little bit too think about what details I can say without necessarily giving any details that I might not be allowed to discuss. However I will say that I have never been told that any reports of seeing UAP's specifically are classified but the mission parameters themselves might be. The missions were never specifically about UAP's in general and just happened to be witnessed during events. Also check out this video of an Airforce Pilot who was involved in the released video.

 
I am old enough to remember project blue book. At the time I was fascinated and wanted to know more. But we were given the weather balloon story.

Now we have open access to what? A government distraction from greed and miss management or just their usual inability to solve problems and give straight answers.

i preferred the weather balloons!

Most astronomers and astrophysicists also think it's highly unlikely. That's given the vast distances and there's nothing particularly interesting here for any possible advanced civilizations to want to see.

It's not just my opinion, but pretty much the consensus of the science community. If you don't believe what science says, we'll that's a different issue. It's always exciting and entertaining to believe it, and Hollywood is happy to follow through on that need.

Then what is it? I don't believe for a second it was a balloon or flock of seagulls or an aircraft in the NVG video. I was in the navy and used the exact same NVG's on watch onboard the ship and no commercial aircraft appeared like that through the NVG's. I have another theory which isn't Alien based but religious based and not sure if I should go that off topic here but if you want to here it let me know.
