In all honesty I would normally agree. But in truthfully with this sandy bridge stuff I really stopped thinking about because I know there is no chance of february.....

Again -- why are people so excited about this "refresh"? It's just a speck update. It's not like they are going to redesign the damn thing. Leave it alone!

I'm over the mystique of Sandy Bridge, and I'm also over shoveling all this snow (in New York). If I could decide what I wanted to buy/add to my Mac arsenal I'd gladly buy a 2010 i7 right now. If I did get a SB I'd give it a least 2-3 months after they were released to see how they were running with Pro Tools and other audio software. But currently keeping my 13" C2D and adding a Mac Pro to my studio seems like a fine idea.

I value stability over the shiny new codename and clockspeed bump.

Stability is far far more important than shiny new codenames and clock bump!

I was sitting around watching the snow fall yesterday and drinking tea. I'm far more concerned about getting my car out tomorrow than worrying about Sandy Bridge or Ivy Bridge or the Brooklyn Bridge.

I am so with you guys on this one.
Enough with Sandy Bridge already.
I`ll hang on for Dusty Road or Filthy River or whatever :)

I live and Dallas Tx, we have 1 inch of snow and I have not had school in two days, but my parents are from the north so they can drive in this weather so i am pretty happy, except that my school broadcasted some of my classes over the internet
