After watching Microsoft event and the reaction of people to Galaxy Fold now i am certain that I must wait for Apple's real innovative product. Before watching the event and reaction of the people i was 50/50 to return it. I like the speed of the iPhone 11 Pro Max and long lasting battery but the overall design, weight and the competitor's innovation wanting me to return it to 100%.
I did. Screen was yellow tinged at normal viewing angle. Camera was good but not $1000 good. Night mode was a novelty. Reflected on how many times I wish I could have taken a picture in the dark and that was absolutely zero. Went back to my XR and am happy. Nice phone just not worth the money.
I did...entered the iPhone lottery: Number 1 had tons of dust in all 3 lenses, replacement phone has a big scratch in the glass of the wide angle ..waiting for number 3....annoyed!

And where did you see the 2020 iPhones or are you going off of “rumors”?
Considering the Microsoft devices are not due out for a yeah (holiday 2020) and the Galaxy Fold isn't even close to ready for the big time, I think you might be waiting a while for a foldable iPhone.
In 2020 you should wait for 2021, or even better 2022.
Of course there will always be something new coming out. IMO- it's ok to to enjoy current tech!
I did...I may return to it during the cycle, but I doubt it...I have a XS that in some instances was feeling snappier for whatever reason...Don't get me wrong I really liked it and think it is the best smartphone out, but coming from a XS, considering I buy outright every year, just didn't do it for me...Also I think people on here misinterpret when someone wants to wait until the next year, in the case of the XS or even X, I don't see why you wouldn't want to wait until next year, its clear the design laguage will be different, and it will really "feel" more substantial of an upgrade in these times of iPhone longevity.
Purchased the 11 Pro and used it for a few days. Certainly a great phone, but didn't see an enormous difference from my X. It was little snappier opening applications and the camera was a bit better, but didn't think it was $1200 better than my X.
Friend please try out galaxy fold, atleast for this year you won't go back to apple. Samsung is clear winner over Apple this year because of galaxy fold. I am with Apple and Samsung both since long time and I won't be biased. I want products that can excite me. With galaxy fold I have same excitement as ipod touch 1st generation/original 2007 (was not into phone back then). Since apple buys products from Samsung thats why they know before hand what apple is working on. Samsung tries to bring their products earlier than apple because they think whoever come first in market will dominate. Its It's possible fold idea is from apple. I am sure apple's fold would be mind blowing. But for now Samsung won in my books. I know I went off topic but you enjoyed it right? 😉 Please try galaxy fold at least for once if you to feel the same experience/excitement as original iPhone 2007. Its available for in-store pickup in some att stores in limited stock. Delivery time is longer in both at att and bestbuy.
I haven't seen the 2020 iPhone, as you or anyone else here hasn't. But I hope the guessed renders are close, 4S was my favorite as well.
