iPhone 12 Pro Anyone else stalking UPS for their 12 pro max delivery

I’m literally watching the front door and working on my laptop in my garage. I should have signed up for in store pick up! Haha
I’ve been checking the app every 10-15 minutes or so. UPS is always late like 3 - 4 o’clock eastern so don’t know when it’s going to arrive.
I can see the truck on the map. But i'm at work so it doesn't matter. It's just so I can tell my kids to get the package off the porch.
Don’t we have to sign for the package?

🤣Likewise, I’m been sitting by the front window working on my laptop all morning waiting for the UPS truck. This is hilarious, but nerve racking.
depends. If they have your signature on file then no. I used UPS mychoice to pre sign for it. And i'm watching the truck move on the map so I can see exactly where it is.
In all the years i've been doing this i've never actually signed for an iphone.

The UPS lady came in a regular car today with my 12 pro max. I was sitting in my garage when she pulled up. I didn’t know who she was until she opened her trunk and got out with her uniform on lol.
I think there is a new covid procedure. They leave at door only if you take it in while they are there.
Mine also says by 9:00 pm. The map has shown it within 1/4 mile from my house and now it’s several miles away. Ugh the torture.
I have to go into work at 4:30 so I hope they leave it on the porch. (We live in the sticks. Only thieves around here are raccoons)

Wow - got it at 12:06! The UPS driver actually pulled up in a Budget Rental truck - so it threw me off!
UPS overwhelmed between Pandemic upcoming holidays and now iPhpne deliveries. This year have to agree In Store pickup would have been better
The UPS truck drove by but didn't stop, my max probably wasn't in there. I'm also supposed to get the leather case delivered separately.
signed up for ups mychoice? It's free. But you have to be signed up before the phone shipped. They email you a link or you can do it through the website or the app. Then you get notifications when something ships often times earlier than the store even tells you. And you can track delivery trucks on the map. Most of the time.
oh darn good to now I have my choice but I can't reset my password I get an error code

Picked up my 12 PM at the Apple store this morning at 10 am. I will never have an iPhone ever mailed to me again.
I've seen fedex using rental van/trucks many times throughout the year. Like they don't have enough trucks or aren't going to buy any more. But it's been all year.
I haven't seen UPS do it yet.

Can't even imagine what it is like for the shipping carriers. There are also PS5s and XBoxes to deliver

UPS is consistent with their delivery times for me, normally between 12 and 12:30. Today they were a little later and closer to 1, probably because of iPhones.
