Is this a sturdy stand?
I have two of this brand of stands, and yes it is relatively sturdy. What do you expect or further clarification from the stand by choosing the term "sturdy"? You can knock over by pulling on the cables.

Mine has been delivered and I'm impressed with the quality. It's reminiscent of the thick and heavy folded metal of the classic Mac Pro cheesegrater. Was approx $29 incl delivery from AliExpress.

I just wanted to add maybe valuable information here: I had serious problems with wifi with the Mini flat on the desk. Completely gone now with the Mini in the upright position. By the way, the same solution at home with my MBPro. In clamshell mode with the hinge upwards and the bottom facing in the direction of the router, perfect wifi.

I just pre ordered an M2 Mini, (replacing my 2013 iMac), I have limited space, so, I found a metal bracket (with silicone bits so it doesn't scratch it), that can be attached to a wall, desk, or even a vesa mount. It spaces the Mac mini away from where it is attached, so plenty of breathing room. The bracket may come sooner than the mini.

Bought my M1 Mini a year ago, quickly experienced the well-known Bluetooth instabilities, and found that having the Mini on its side w/bottom facing out towards the room helped. Been that way since. I'm not missing any stand for it.

Hmmm… now I’m wondering if mounting on the wall is not a good idea, I almost ordered a stand for it, maybe I’ll get a stand too.

Oh, wait, the antenna is on the bottom? I’ll just mount it on the wall upside down, it will be behind the monitor anyway, monitor will be on a vesa mount on the wall. EDIT: If that doesn't work with the bracket I ordered, I'll get a stand.

FYI, I found a couple stands that have expansion, SD card slots, more ports, and one has a slot for the chip type SSD the other has a place for a thin 2.5" SSD or HDD, they are $60-80, so, didn't do it, but, I will need an SD card reader.

I'm using this minimalist CXMount on my 2012 mini. It holds the mini firmly with no wobble. Macstadium has confirmed that the M2 case is the exact same size as previous minis, so this mount will still work.. The extra mm in Apple's specs is just a more precise measurement of the case.
