Hi Guys,

Anyone else noticed that there is a pricing calculation problem with the new Macbook Pro 17 on the ADC Store (both US and Canadian stores).

Whenever I add an option the base price get bumped by a larger amount then the option price. For example on the US ADC:

The base price is: $2,239.00

The 320GB 7200rpm option is $45.00

When I add this option, the total goes up to: $2,564.00 instead of $2284.00 or a difference of $280.00.

I hope they fix the problem soon, I want to order a CTO MBP 17... to replace my old unibody MBP 15 ;).

Call up the ADC hardware team and order over the phone...quicker and sometimes they offer priority shipping for free as well.

Oh no! I ordered my MBP two days ago and never checked the addition. I ordered through NAPP with their link to the Apple Store. When I saw your post, I went back and checked the addition on my order and they are charging me $56.00 too much!! I hope that I can get them to adjust it.

No wonder when I was configuring a 17" it was so much $$.
I recently checked ADC and all the hard drive options are screwed up.
Not only that the processor, memory, display, and etc are all calculated incorrectly.
Apple needs to be informed asap.

I totally forgot about my yearly hardware purchase with ADC Select. :D I will call Apple Support tomorrow and see if they can do anything about it.
