Anyone else want to see an updated Google Maps app in iOS 5? I love how the street view and some other features (live bus times) the maps app google has on android devices. I would love to see some of those features in the Google Maps app on iOS 5.

I use it all the time and could really go for some turn by turn.

yeap I was gonna say that as well. If the app becomes like a real navigation system I'm down for that and dump navigon and tomtom.

it's just the directions as normal maps app and then the app just provides alternative routes no option to avoid anything

It is not a full blown navigation app.

I bought the Tom Tom app a long time ago so I stopped caring. $35 is a steal

The iOS maps app is abysmal compared to Android and WP7. So yes, I would.

Mapquest has turn by turn and automatic re-routing if you go off course. I love it. Think it's free too.
