I'd love all these iPhones to be 2x thicker to accommodate a larger mAh battery so all of them would have at at least 2x the battery life.
Bendgate would never occur if Apple did this.
Then allow for
67W wired USB-C fast charging to achieve 50% in 29 mins and 100% in 119 mins.
12W wired USB-A slow charging would reach 100% by 5 hours to allow for over night charging.
So imagine doubling the hours below
iPhone | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | |
Video | 13 | 16 | 14 | 15 | 17 | 18 | 20 | 13 | 15 | 17 | 17 | 20 | 17 | 19 | 22 | 28 |
Streaming | ? | ? | ? | ? | 10 | 11 | 12 | 8 | 10 | 11 | 11 | 12 | 13 | 15 | 20 | 25 |
Music | 60 | 65 | 60 | 65 | 65 | 65 | 80 | 40 | 50 | 65 | 65 | 80 | 55 | 75 | 75 | 95 |
Doubling the hours means the need to recharge would be delayed by a factor of 2.
So instead of needing to replace the battery on month 25 you can delay it to month 49.
