I just updated the Facebook messenger app and it looks sort of like a blueprint. Anyone else's look like this?

Yup. I assume that's the icon they use internally before updating software and forgot to swap it out? Don't expect it to last past the next update.

I just update my facebook app right now but did't get yet? How it could happen. looking really nice

yes it was noted in the update new on the macrumors page. read it on twitter before saying it was updated with the new icon.
