I got a stereo setup of the HomePod minis and more often than not when I Airplay from my iPhone or even iPad Air it plays at ~60% volume. Dragging the volume slider just brings it back to where it was.
I try to increase the volume with the volume buttons and it ironically reduces the volume and goes back up to 60% but not more than that. The only way to increase the volume is on the mini itself.

Anyone else has this problem?

HomePod minis on 14.3
iPhone on iOS 14.4 beta 1. The issue was the same on 14.3.

Video below.

EDIT: I should mention that I ungrouped, reset and set it up again at least a couple times but the issue still persists.

not sure it will help, but the first couple things to try...

rebooting your router

If that doesn't help, you can try resetting to default , and setting up the HomePods from new again.
This is fairly painless, and I've seen it sort out many issues here in the forums.
