I ordered my second ever new Mac last Wednesday, and as of 8:14am this morning, it's on the delivery truck!

However, it's being delivered by FedEx, which I have no experience with. Pretty much anything I order is delivered by UPS, USPS, or it gets transferred from Fedex to the USPS, so I don't know Fedex's shipping policies, and their website is ambiguous.

Right now, it says it's out for delivery, BUT that it's scheduled for the next business day (which would be Tuesday, since Monday is a holiday). However, I'm reading some sources that say FedEx delivers Ground on Saturday for residents.

I'm hoping that since it says "On Fedex vehicle for delivery" that it will be arriving today. For those who deal with Fedex, is my chance higher that I can get it today since it's out for delivery, or should I anticipate it on Tuesday, as expected?

When I need something ASAP (or when I know I won't be home when they are scheduled to deliver the parcel), I ask the local hub to keep it, and I go get it myself.
