Titanium wedding rings will scratch the iPhone screen pretty bad... I bought my 1st generation iPhone the day they went on sale and I scratched it while reaching into my pocket on about the 3rd day I owned it. Apple was kind enough to replace it free of charge but since then I've never let it go without a screen protector - lesson learned!
