Anyone ever successfully returned an Apple product after 14 days for store credit?

    It is still within 30 days. Nothing is wrong with it.

    Did you buy it from the Apple store or from another retailer?
    Most retailers have 30 day return policies.

    If all else fails you can probably eBay it or some such - Apple products hold their value remarkably well.

    What was the excuse for the return if you don't mind me asking?

    Also, be polite about it. And if the first person doesn't or can't help. Ask to speak to a manager about it. It's not guaranteed by any means, but they have some flexibility in what they can do.
