iResq are pretty decent from what I've heard but honestly I would never let another person touch my iPhone's innards. If a repair needs to be done, I do it myself. Although I understand that there are many people who are not comfortable with doing so.

I guarantee you can find a local shop that will do it cheaper than $80 bucks and you can actually go in a drop it off with a real person, not send ur phone to some 13 year old in china.

Shops around me do this for like $60. I don't know what site you are looking on, but I've found new glass replacements for iPhone for 10-20 bucks.

Pretty funny considering they are the ones putting it together in the first place.

Depends on what iPhone it is. On the 3G and 3Gs, the digitizer can come seperately from the LCD frame but on the iPhone 4, it is one solid piece. I've found the iPhone 4 replacements on eBay for as low as $50.

U BREAK I FIX?? Eeeeek! Me thinks NOT!! More like U BREAK, WE BREAK IT MORE!!
If you have a MacBook Pro, or any type of Macintosh computer.... STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!! I took my MacBook in because my pointer was acting erratic and I was told that they needed to wipe my hard-drive because it was infected with Malwear. They told me it would take 48 hours for them to fix it. Well NOT! It took them a week to do the repairs, and they STILL didn't get it right, computer is acting worse now. I was called 3 times by their tech who was in way over his head. I had to go back to this place 3 times to HELP THEM OUT! They had chanced my password, and couldn't figure out how to get back into my computer, they had installed the WRONG operating system, then they called me to tell me they could not install my software back onto my computer because they were getting error message during the installation process. Once I got there, I had to discovered they couldn't install my software because they had installed the WRONG operating system which was NOT comparable with my software disks... ::sigh:::. Had to wait another day for them to remove the OS they installed, so they could change it back to the correct OS. Once they did what I told them to do, they were able to re-install my disks. HOWEVER, now that I have my computer back, the trackpad, AND the keyboard are worse then when I brought it in!!! THANKS FOR CHARGING ME $100.00 TO SCREW UP MY COMPUTER GUYS!! (Call owner of this place, and she STILL hasn't called me back yet... would not give me a refund)!!!

I tried to have them fix a 5s. They tried several different replacement parts to no avail. They gave it back and didn't charge me. So no real complaints.

So I have a broken glass on my iphone and ran across this place. $79.99 to put a new glass on my phone. I can get the parts and do it myself for about $60.00, but for another 20 bucks I think I would let someone else fix it. They have 100% positive feedback on ebay and seem to be a good company, just wanted to see if anyone has used them.

I had my old iPhone 6 fixed by iCracked.com, they actually go to your house and fix the phone in front of you so you can see what they're doing. Pretty awesome. And right now they're having a $25 off promotion.

They have stores all over the nation, cant be all bad but of course you will always find a complaint with any store. I have a friend that has three in the Sacramento area and sometimes they dont hire thee right people and have to let them go. But overall they do a good job.

Verizon said my Iphone charger port was broken, no repair possible, and quoted me the price of a new phone. I found Ubreakitifix and took the phone in. The sales rep grabbed a tool, pulled lint out of the port, he plugged it in and it works. When I asked how much I owed, he said no charge, please refer your friends to us.

...so I could've taken my iPhone 6 to them and only paid $180 to replace my shattered screen instead of $109?!

Oh well, live and learn. I'll know better for next time. :rolleyes:o_O:rolleyes:o_O

You buy a high priced top of the line phone. And when it needs repairs you take it to a questionable place that uses non Apple parts, may or may not do a good job and probably voids your warranty for future with Apple.

Why not buy a cheap off brand phone to begin with. Saves money and can have anyone fiddle with it, "repair", since the manufacturer won't have good repair or warranty service.

My profile picture says it all.

Don't ever use ubreak, I fix. THEY BREAK WORSE AND CHARGE YOU MONEY! I brought them my PS3 for the red light of death and replaced the motherboard. when I got it back, there was loose screws or something rolling around inside, but it worked so I didn't complain, but a couple months later I got the same problem and they said it was out of warranty and that I muse of broke it somehow. Anyways. I took it to another shop and they said the motherboard had never even been replaced. They fixed it for half the cost and warranty for a year. UBREAKIFIX ARE SCAM ARTISTS!

Also, Apple Store charges $129 to fix iPhone cracked screens, so why pay $150 from someone who is not Authorized? It doesn't make sense.

Yeah, I know... But I'm not an idiot, I learned my lesson. Apple Store charges $129 to replace iPhone screens while uBreakiFix charges $149-$199 and it will void your warranty.

Well never ever go there with a Mac!
Brought mine for cleaning. Went to pick it up on day ant time it was supposed to be ready (1 month an 1/2 later).
- It wasn't ready, had to wait another hour
- The display detached itself from the iMac while carrying the machine out of the store.
- The told me to come back in an hour (again).
- They added tape to hold the screen... When they saw the look in my eyes, they took back my machine to reapply a new sealer.
- On the 3rd attempt, I brought the machine home, Plugged it in... 48 hours later, the screen falls off. One small piece of the corner broke. I try to contact the store (ubreakifix)... voicemail full. Sent two emails to the head office, nobody wants to help. I fill out the email survey and couple weeks after, I get a reply from the head office saying they talked to the store, asking me to take the machine back and they will replace broken parts and fix it for good.
- So I leave my iMac at the store again on Monday at 10 AM. They tell me its gonna be ready at 7 PM.
Based on previous experience I go pick up my machine the next day (Tuesday) at 7 PM.
Not ready, no work has been done.
- 1 1/2 week later they call me saying they can't figure out how the screen fell off w/o breaking the connectors.
Now if you ask me that question, I can't answer that because I lack the skills to open and close an iMac, hense the fact that I brought it in for repairs!

So basically they are calling me a liar.. they won't replace the screen, instead they will seal it back, refund the money they originally charged me and that's it. Bottom line they are unprofessional, unfortunately unskilled and cannot assume their mistakes. I understand that young lads get their first working experience there... but at what cost... the customers? That's not right!

Anyway, I cannot speak for the cell phones repair, but if you have an Mac computer, just stay away from that place or you will suffer the consequences!

Beware of wolves in sheeps clothing!

I decided to look em up on google and check their reviews ... if you click on a lot of their reviews you will notice that they are very suspect and more than likely fake and made up on the same date with a very intriguing story... plus the 1 bad review gets 0 out 5 dislikes and ALL the reviewers have only 1 review and it just so happens its just for ubreakifix

CLICK HERE TO SEE THEIR GOOGLE REVIEWS

id like to say the same for some posts on this website as well.

im not going to use them, im sorry i cannot give a good review even though i never had their service i dont like fake companies who falsify and try to mislead us... #imjustsayin

Of course they're fake. How do you get 200 5-star ratings in 6 months, while only managing to get 10 reviews on Yelp? Because Yelp detects that fake review bs. It's consumer fraud on a grand scale and Google seems to be okay with it.

You can also try icracked.com where you can schedule a repair tech to meet you anywhere. This one is legit since I’ve tried them once before.

The only diff is that these replacement have a lifetime warranty by them.

Pricey from what I’ve looked at in the past too. I just stick to Apple to do a screen repair.

I've been reading ripoffreport and other review sites for the last 4 hours and there seems to be an ongoing theme with 3 companies and their iPhone screen repair prices. Let's example their prices and service for iPhone 6.

ICRACKED: $89.99
Pros: They come to your house. Cheapest price.
Cons: Aftermarket screen. Late and missed appointments. Not honoring the lifetime warranty.

UBREAKIFIX: $110

Pros: No appointment. Just walk in.
Cons: Aftermarket screen. Many people report they have broke devices worse and lie.

APPLE STORE: $129

Pros: Genuine Apple display.
Cons: Needs appointment. Highest price.

I do realize that some gas stations offer cheaper prices, but I wouldn't trust them.
