I'm so annoyed with the silicon sleeve "condom" that came with Beats X. The headphones themselves are the best wireless headphones I've ever owned, but it's shocking a company like Apple thought it appropriate to just give a tiny little lose silicon holder for them. The case they came with are so un-Apple-like. It baffles me.

Anyone find a cheap solution anywhere to solve the issue?

I actually find the case great . Perfect size and shape . Once you've figured out how to put the headphones in it take a few seconds .

That's the issue, it's a condom... you shouldn't have to think about how to put it on, it shouldn't matter. It's a great product and a terribly cheap case solution. Look at any other mid\high end headphone on the market and find me any manufacturer that has given a cheaper piece of garbage case that doesn't even protect against dust. Even the JayBirds X3 come with a far superior case that's easy to get the buds in and out of, without letting dust in and having the wires come busting out the gaping hole.

Once you get the hang of it, putting the BeatsX into their case is actually much faster than using the "pill boxes" that Apple ships with the Earpods and in-ear headphones. Nothing beats the case of the Airpods though, but that's kind of an unfair comparison. ;)

Yeah I'm not expecting the pill box... that's not right for a product like Beats X... but what would be nice is even a simple pouch that closes like the one that comes with JayBirds X3, or even a drawstring pouch. The silicon "sleeve" is just gross and ineffective.

I don't own them but it's difficult for Apple to create a sleek solution that doesn't involve wrapping the cord up evrytime. Is it really necessary anyway? Just keep them in your pocket or around your neck.

I like it. I can stow the headphones quickly and the case is compact and pocket-friendly. Much better than the monstrosity that came with the Jaybird X2s (haven't seen the X3s).

I use charging case Smatree S30 with MicroUSB Lightning adapter, for keeping and charging my BeatsX

Not sure what came with the X2, but the X3 is a basic\simple yet functional pouch where you can put the earbuds and extra ear silicons without worry of losing them or wires sticking out.

HAHA, Love the features this provides, but OMG it's HUUUUUUUUGE for earbuds. Tho in clicking that then researching on amazon, I found this which just might do the trick.

[doublepost=1492273817][/doublepost]Actually found this which is nice. Don't love the branding but the dimensions will be perfect. Ordered.

It was a fat, difficult to open rubbery case. There were lots of complaints.

I don't think that would work well for the BeatsX, since the neck band would uncoil and prevent the pouch from closing properly.

I don't see this as being an issue. The Jaybirds X3 works great for the Beats X except it's slightly too small. Looks like the one I linked will be perfect. ANYTHING is better than the garbage silicon condom Apple provided with the BeatsX

Following up on this one. DON'T buy. It's way way way too small. Not sure if I didn't calculate dimensions properly or what, but I absolutely don't recommend it.

FWIW... I purchase and use these to store and charge my Beatsx:

I bought them for about $10.

They work great and have a very low profile. You do need to get a micro USB to Lightning adapter but those are only a few bucks. Fortunately, I had a cable with one that I repurposed after my dog chew up the cable up.

Sealos

Unavailable now (looks to be discontinued) and mediocre reviews. The mophie looks like a much better overall solution from a very reputable company. Still, Mophie seems overpriced for what it is.
