I have two EDGE phones, one with a busted glass panel and working touch sensor, and the other with a fine glass, but malfunctioning touch sensor. Any way I can combine these into a working phone?

NOO, I wish I could. You may have heard, these 2g lcd parts are all fused together and you cannot separate. In theory you could if the glass wasnt cracked, but of course why else would you be replacing it. I've seen attempts at this by applying heat and separating, but then you may burn parts...bla bla. You basically have to pay $120 and replace it. And it isn't easy. Take your time.
