Okay, I'm going to admit this. I kept wondering why my phone wasn't asking for my password when I signed in. It seemed like it was always unlocked. Then I remember... Face ID! I find that it works great. Very quick, even in a dark car.

I think that's the most impressive feature and how well it performs in darkness.

It’s amazing! You really forget about it. It just works.

I've been so used to entering a passcode for years. For Face ID, I don't have to hold the phone up like I'm taking a selfie. I just look down at it to use it and it unlocks. I love technology!!!

Yup a few app logins I realized just how much better it is. My only complaint is when it's on my desk, I'm not in the range of the camera

It’s awsome and love apps that auto use it. Much better than Touch ID. I am really surprised.

Not yet - tho maybe by morning.

But it’s pretty damned seamless. In my tests, it’s noticably quicker than Touch ID (in my iPhone 6, which may explain). In what truly feels like one, continuous motion (tap + flick up), the device unlocks. So instant, in fact (to the OP’s point) that you may think it’s not working.

But wow... an impressive piece of hardware. Perhaps I’ll gather my thoughts and share some reaction. But overall, very impressed. As expected.

Yes, I just simply have been using it and not even thinking about anything. It is so much better for me in comparison to Touch ID, which failed for me almost half the time. LOVE this phone.

On my way home from work tonight, I noticed my phone had recognized my face. So I laughed out of amazement and did it again, and again, and again. I couldn’t believe it.

It’s amazing to me how I’ve had this phone for half a day and I’m already using Face ID like we’ve had it for years. Totally forget it’s there.
