Anyone get their iphone yesterday and still can't connect to the ATT server?

    Got the 5 yesterday...24 hours later, it is still not connecting to the server. Called ATT twice yesterday and they said 800,000 people got their phones delivered and everyone was trying to connect at once....

    ATT suggested turning the phone off and on every 30 minutes. you guys have any suggestions?

    Are you saying it won't activate? If so, there's a couple things you can try.

    One, remove the SIM card and power down the phone. Reenter the SIM and power back on.

    Two, backup your device and do a full restore. When doing the restore, your phone should activate.

    If either of those don't work, it would seem the issue is on AT&T.
