Wondering because users have reported screen problems (again with this model!). Anyone have a late-2013 iMac that's perfect, to set the-people-who-are-still-waiting's fear to rest?

My 27" BTO delivers Oct. 8-10. Only seen one complaint.

Cinebench and Blackmagic disk speed test, please.

Where do you live, by the way?

Cinebench R15

OpenGL = 103.11fps
CPU = 723 cb

I ran this benchmark while the Boot Camp assistant was copying files to a USB stick in the background. I'll run it again and compare results once my install finishes. And, I don't have Blackmagic. Sorry.

PS. I'm in the US.

I have the late 2012 machine and it's been absolutely perfect. A truly amazing design coupled with great internals. The screen is great, it's quiet and so much cooler than the iMac I had before it. You are all in for a treat. This new model will run even cooler and faster with the new Haswell chip and faster Ram.

And for anybody on the fence over Fusion... spend the money and just get it. You won't regret it. my 27inch with 3TB 7200rpm HD Fusion starts up in about 6 seconds. Seriously, it's probably even quicker than that. Before I would go away and brush my teeth or something, now I can barely turn away from the screen.

I will say you are all lucky that you've not had to put up with all the crap that went on last year and the mega waiting with the whingers and complainers about the design and fusion drive.

I also got the 3TB fusion without hestiating based on all the reviews from last year and this year. Just a quick question are boot up and shut down times on par with a macbook pro retina?

congrats to those who already have gotten there iMac. My iMac still remains to exit the "processing items" Feel like even tho I payed for express shipping it properly arrive next week. Ordered it before 24 hours after it had been updated.

However I´m sure I´m not alone in the waiting game.

I ordered 27" customised with:
16GB RAM
GTX 780
and magic mouse + track pad
and batteri charcher

----------

I forgot about the 512 GB Flash storage (SSD)

I wonder if the Haswell iMacs have lower power consumption, i know it was touted a lot with the MBA's although they did have much lower clock speeds than the previous years.

I shall find out tomorrow.

I ordered the same config, mine is due Oct. 8 - 11

I wonder if I did a mistake by getting the numeric keyboard instead of the wireless keyboard with my late 2013 iMac.

Nah, I have both and both are good. I use the wireless a lot more, but you can always buy another Apple keyboard.

Here is my configuration:

NVIDIAGeForceGTX775M 2GB GDDR5
3.5GHz Quad-core Intel Core i7
8GB 1600MHz DDR3 SDRAM-2X4GB
1TB Fusion Drive
MAGIC TRACKPAD-Z
Apple WL Kybd+User's Guide-T

Also ordered the 16GB RAM upgrade kit from Crucial

Order placed last sunday Sep 29 (express delivery), due next week (Oct 9 -11)

When I order, I will be getting a wired keyboard as well. The wire doesn't get in my way and it doesn't impact me by being tethered to the computer. And I feel the key layout on the wired is slightly better.

I will probably get the trackpad instead of the mouse to play with. I have a mouse that I like already,

Don't fret the wired/wireless keyboard. I have both and switch between the 2 based on how I'm feeling. Right now the wired is in the drawer, the wireless just makes the desktop look cleaner.

And I use the trackpad exclusively. It takes less desk space, you aren't picking it up and moving it to get across the screen, it just works. Try it for a week and you'll never go back.

But really, when you're spending tht much money, obsessing over a $70 keyboard that you can probably buy on eBay even cheaper dosen't make sense.

Thanks for the feedback you rested my worries, one more question are the buttons higher on a wired keyboard. Also when are you ordering your imac bear?

The buttons are about the same height. The difference that matters to me is the size and the location of a few buttons.

And as for when? I'm waiting for the 2013 to hit the refurb store to save some money. So probably 3 months or so based on previous models.

Let me finish my Boot Camp install and I'll run the benchmark. Stay tuned.

Out of curiosity, where was your iMac shipped from, and where was it built? I'm trying to determine if some of these are being made in the USA.
