Not getting a NEO. But if I was 5 bucks a month is a no brainer. Portable stuff especially. Can never be too careful.

May be covered already on ones homeowners policy. But, if this is a daily carry outside the home, then I'd get it.

Near the end of the 12 month warranty, I usually wait until then to see how it holds up first.

Then if it's worth keeping, then I will buy AC+ - like I just did with my M2 MBA.

Really, any mobile device you have ought to go with AppleCare.
Aside from any factory hiccups or design flaws, the sheer nature of mobility over a static location - bumps, bangs, gunge embedding itself and stress on ports - mean it really is worth the trouble.

Yes. My wifey loves hers so much that she lugs it everywhere she goes within our house and will probably do so when we travel. $5/mo is good accident insurance

Yes, I bought the $49.99 annual until no longer needed. Then again, I have Apple Care+ for all of my laptops.
At $50 / year, it really is a no-brainer. Especially as that as long as you pay it, you are covered - so that can go well after the traditional 2 years of AppleCare.

I ordered my 512gb yesterday in indigo and also bought the AppleCare for $49.99. Will re-evaluate a second year when the time comes. Going to be a long 2-3 weeks until it arrives.
