Last year we went with all but the mini. I did buy the mini but upon using it for a day I just purely hated the size so I returned it. So this year logic is sound to just get the pro versions since they’ll have all the best features anyway. Who’s with me?

If I get a new one this year, I’m definitely getting a Pro, yes. Not settling for less again, not that the non-Pros are bad or anything. I just feel like I should get the best if I’m getting any of them.

I'm getting the regular 13 if it has 6GB RAM and 128GB base storage as I don't care as much about the camera and proMotion. If it doesn't have both, then I'll consider the 13 pro since it's more bang for buck

I always get the biggest phone I can grab. The bigger the screen the less eye strain. Pro Max all the way.
Same here, if I was upgrading this year, it would be the big boy 13 pro max, best smartphone on the planet.

Hard to go back to a small screen, once you’re use to more screen real estate, love the size and weight of the standard 12 though.

Just get the screen you’re most satisfied with. For me that’s the biggest phone at the moment.

I don’t feel like I’m missing out on the best future with my regular 12 versus the Pro. I don’t have the third camera but I never used it on my 11 Pro Max, anyway

13 Pro. I don’t like the Max ever, too big personally for my hands. And i find upgrading from the regular version to the pro usually worth it.

I will be upgrading from my iPhone 12 Pro Max to the 13 Pro Max. I couldn’t go back to a smaller phone now after all these years

You’ll never go back once you go max. You get used to the bigger size very quickly and it becomes a non-issue, you’ll never want a smaller screen again

Maybe, but that does not apply to everyone though. I used the 6s+ and 8+ and didn't think I could use anything smaller, then got the SE2 and now the 12 mini. I really do not want to go larger now (although may be forced to if there is no 14 Mini).

We’ve heard of plenty forum members that changed to a smaller device. It’s entirely personal preference and many folks can make smaller screens work for them.

It depends on the features, with the 12 I didn't think it was worth getting the Pro as I don't really do much photography.

I got the 6 Plus, hated the size for the whole year that I got the regular 6S and have stuck with the smaller phones ever since.

Planning on upgrading to a 13 Pro from a 12 mini. Love the 12 mini but want something a little better in the battery department.

Same here, enjoy the mini but the battery has me looking to upgrade. While I’m at it I might go pro max, we’ll see.

You never get used to that massive brick hanging down in your pocket. Never. It’s always an annoyance. Pro Max versions are way too wide. An ergonomic nightmare. If I have to go big (don’t want to) I’ll take an Android equivalent with a less-wide frame and rounded corners that make these monstrosities much more comfortable to hold.

All IMO, of course. Many here will disagree. And that’s what makes the world go ‘round.

I agree. I would prefer to keep the length but reduce the width. until then I'll stick with the standard size.

The max was always an issue for me. Although I loved the size. I didn’t like crarying it around. Have a 12 pro now and find it a great little compromise!

I agree with this. There was a time I wouldn't have. I have an 11 Pro Max and was thinking of going with a regular Pro when the 13 comes out. I was in the Apple store one day picking up an order and was waiting by the phones and picked up a 12 Pro. It felt so small in my hand and the 12 Max just felt so normal. I can't go small now.

Possibly a 13 Pro Max to replace my almost 4 year old X. I think I'm ready for a bigger screen.. Although if both Pro's have identical specs I may have to re-evaluate my options and seriously consider the 6.1 Pro
