I’m stuck in a delima and I don’t know what to choose

If you are stuck, don't do anything...... yet.

Sleep on it for a week. Think it over multiple times. Talk with your family and friends.

Why are you rushing this? The ip8 is readily available.

Aside from the plenty of threads that you can read through based on the differences on the iPhone forum, I would also get hands-on in the stores with iPhone 8 and see if this feels like a worthy upgrade to you.

I have a 6s Plus. I thought about the 8 plus but for the £600 difference I can’t justify it.

The 6s Plus does 99% of the stuff I need it to and the 8 plus looks almost identical on the face. It genuinely wouldn’t feel different to me

I also can’t get over the fact they haven’t changed the design for 4 years. Minor spec bumps won’t do it for me.

I sold my 6S for £300 so effectively got my 8 plus for £500.

I wanted a better camera and bigger screen so I’m happy.

I wouldn’t be impressed with 6S to 8 jump though, it would feel too similar.

I have the 6s i compared the 6s/7/8 on the Apple site and looking at the specs there wasn't much reason for me to upgrade even if i traded in my 6s i would still find it hard to justify spending the difference on minor features

I had a 6S and upgraded to the 8 - so much better, the 8 is faster, sleeker and sexier. Took a couple of days to get used to the taptic home button but now I am used to it, I wouldn’t go back to a traditional button.

Ive gone from the 6s to the 8plus. Thinking of returning it. Apart from the bigger screen and battery there isn’t enough for me to justify the £800 price tag.

how big of an upgrade would you say?

Save your $700 and take the gf/wife out for a nice dinner, preorder a the xbox one x, and call it a day.
no need for an xbox x when my first gen xbox is still running good :)

i did. Had to stop by bestbuy 4 times just to see if it is worth to upgrade

I upgraded to the 8 from the 7 and the 8 feels better with its glass back...I was missing things like Tru-tone and a better camera too.

Not such a big deal for me as I normally buy 2 new phones a year, anyway.

Went from 6s to 8+. Very pleased. Battery is outstanding!

I really didn't need to upgrade my 6s, the battery life was still solid--it had been replaced under the Apple Battery Replacement Program, iOS 10.3.3 was stable and the phone was in great shape. A family member was in need of an upgrade and I'm always tempted by technology so I bit the bullet. I went from 6s to 8+. Better camera, incredible battery life, improved screen, more real estate on the screen, etc. My 6s was paid off so I could have saved a few $ on the monthly bill, but I traded in a 5s (from family member and gave them my 6s), received a $100 credit for it and even with the 256 8+ my monthly payment is actually $.01 cheaper. Personally speaking, I much enjoy the design and find the latest version to be very refined with the addition of glass back.

I agree though, take your time. Think it through and get to a store where you can get your hands on both 8 and 8+ to see if the upgrade is worthwhile to you. It is clear, many of us who've upgraded are happy. Many are happy with what they have, and some are waiting for the X. Your decision is the only one that matters.

Just went from a 6s to 8 plus. I didn’t expect a huge difference, but it is night and day. First phone camera that feels like it could almost compete with my real DSLR. Wireless charging is a much nicer convenience than I imagined. Incredible battery life, and the overall speed is stunning. For the first time a phone browser feels faster than my state of the art laptop, and everything is just instant.

I had zero interest in facial recognition, and that cutout at the top of the screen on the iPhone X would drive me crazy - major design faux pas IMO.

Incredibly pleased with the 8 plus!

Went from 6S+ to 8+. Definitely faster, longer battery life. Further did it for the wireless charging and quick charge. Did the apple payment plan.
