You don't get an additional discount if you are already getting the discount that makes your line $15. They will just add the $40 phone payment to your $15 line and the total will be $55. I don't know how else to explain it to you. Just trying to help you understand. But, this thread is about GB size and not payment plans anyway, so good luck with that ;)

I understand what your getting at. :) I totally do. We're not arguing over the money savings, it's where the discount is applied. I'm only counting the discount once, but it's just simpler math to say it's gonna be an additional $15 a month instead of saving $25 a month then paying another $40.

I would think there would be a setting to record in just HD instead of 4K, if you don't have the need to... And I am staying on 64 GB, don't really keep a lot of local stuff besides Apps anyways

I have been all set for going 64Gb this time around, as I've always been happy with the middle storage option. And I pre-ordered 64Gb at 3am. I've been on 32Gb for the past 2 years, kept all my pix on my phone, and have only 5Gb free. But then I got to thinking, and reading these threads. And noting that a LOT of my apps are using towards 300Mb of storage space each.

At 5:15am I cancelled my 64Gb pre-order and created a new pre-order of a 128Gb one. lol

It's probably best to go 128Gb with all this 4K stuff, bigger apps, and give yourself the breathing room, ESPECIALLY if you are only eligible to upgrade every 2 years, as I am.

Between the music and photos I already have, I'm going straight from 32GB to 128. I am constantly running out of room, and if I want to transfer video from my GoPro, I need all the space I can get.

No way. Take the pictures, import them into iPhone or another photo app, and only keep the ones on your phone you care about. 128 is grossly overpriced, and 16 just isn't an option.

Actually I downgraded I bought a 128gb last time and bought a 64gb this time.
I have 80gb free I never used.
